About us: a story with the scent of the woods and truffles
Truffle Farm wasn’t born from a plan on paper, but from a visceral passion for truffles and everything surrounding them — the woods, the seasons, the silence of the fields in the morning. It’s a story that took shape slowly, year after year, walking through the truffle grounds, observing, making mistakes, and learning. Above all, learning — from the places, the plants, and the old masters of the trade, who passed down their invaluable knowledge to us.
From the first truffle to today: thirty years of a growing truffle farm…
The first truffle grounds were established in 1994, in a pristine area of the Ancona hinterland, between the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Parks and the San Vicino Park — a territory that already says a lot about who we are and what we believe in.
Since then, we have never stopped: we have expanded our cultivation, restored abandoned truffle grounds, and experimented with new techniques such as the high-density method, refining our species selection. Today, our ten hectares are home to Tuber aestivum, Tuber melanosporum, and a small production of Tuber bianchetto — a heritage built with patience, method, and a care that has never ceased to be artisanal.
All this, without ever resorting to chemicals: because a healthy truffle ground is, first and foremost, an ecosystem in balance.
